Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: February 2026

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the AMES platform and all associated services. By using AMES, you agree to comply with this policy. We reserve the right to update this AUP at any time, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Permitted Use

AMES is designed for legitimate activity management purposes. You may use the platform to:

  • Manage activities, classes, courses, and events for your organisation
  • Maintain member records, enrolments, and attendance tracking
  • Process bookings, payments, and generate invoices
  • Send communications to your members, including emails, SMS messages, and notifications related to your services
  • Generate reports and analytics to support your business operations
  • Use AI agents and automation features to streamline administrative tasks

3. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the AMES platform to:

  • Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
  • Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam) or marketing messages to individuals who have not given consent
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate any person, including other users of the platform
  • Upload, transmit, or store content that is defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or infringes on the rights of others
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the platform by automated means beyond the provided APIs
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or any other harmful code through the platform
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the AMES platform or its underlying technology
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems, accounts, or data not intended for your use
  • Resell, sublicence, or redistribute access to the platform without written authorisation
  • Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

4. Resource Limits

To ensure fair use and platform stability for all customers, the following resource guidelines apply:

  • API Usage: API access is subject to rate limiting. Excessive automated requests that degrade platform performance for other users are prohibited.
  • Storage: File uploads and media storage are subject to reasonable limits based on your subscription plan. Large-scale data storage beyond normal operational use requires prior arrangement.
  • Email Sending: Outbound email volume is monitored to prevent abuse. Sending limits are based on your subscription tier. Emails must comply with applicable anti-spam legislation (including UK PECR and GDPR).
  • SMS and Voice: Messaging and voice usage is metered and billed according to your communications plan. Messages must be relevant to your legitimate business operations.

5. Enforcement

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in the following actions, at our sole discretion:

  • Warning: A written notice identifying the violation and requesting immediate remediation.
  • Suspension: Temporary restriction of access to the platform or specific features while the violation is investigated or resolved.
  • Termination: Permanent removal of access to the platform for serious or repeated violations, in accordance with our Terms of Service.

We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice before taking enforcement action, except in cases where immediate action is necessary to protect the platform, its users, or comply with legal requirements.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violations of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report them to abuse@amessolutions.io. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. You may also contact our support team for general enquiries at hello@amessolutions.io.
